I have another awesome wedding for you all today! The happy couple consists of Corlette and Paul, two people that you would love to know! I met Corlette and Paul for the first time at the Georgia Bridal Show and I was so thrilled when they chose me to capture their wedding day! I joked with them that I was excited to join #TeamKelly!
On wedding day when I first saw Corlette, she was already wearing her stunning wedding gown. I asked Corlette about her dress, she said: “I found it at David’s Bridal. It just stood out and had everything I wanted, a corset, a long train, and lots of lace!”
I asked Corlette what her favorite memory from the wedding day was and she said “Our first look, that was such an intimate moment between us that I will never forget.”
The wedding was truly beautiful and The Brookstone Country Club made for a gorgeous backdrop! The first tee was the perfect spot for their ceremony and the purple hues that Corlette and Paul chose really popped against the green!
One of my favorite moments from their day was the ring warming during their ceremony. They passed their rings around for friends and family so they could say a silent prayer/blessing for their marriage.
Paul said his favorite moment was the moment they were pronounced husband and wife. He could not stop smiling, it was so sweet!
I had so much fun taking photos after the ceremony. The wedding party was so great and they even laughed at my lame jokes! Corlette and Paul’s portrait session was one of my favorites, they are so adorable together. They made posing a breeze since they couldn’t stop looking at each other and smiling, you can totally tell that they are made for each other!
The reception was a total blast! From Paul’s surprise Death Star groom’s cake to the hilarious Newlywed shoe game you could tell that they were loving every minute of their special day.
I asked Corlette if she had any advice for other couples planning their wedding and I love what she said, “Start early and work as a team! It is good practice for the teamwork you need for a happy marriage!”
Join me in wishing Corlette and Paul many years of love and happiness!
